What is the Pleasanton Unified School District Film Festival, and is it still on?
The PUSD Film Festival is an annual film festival open to all Pleasanton students K-12. For the past six years, we have given students a chance to share their voice and talents through film making.
Due to quarantine restrictions, we are unable to hold an in-person festival. Just like last year, however, the show will go on! Once again, our festival will be held digitally. Students can submit their short films in numerous categories. Even though we can't physically screen the event like in previous years, we will be live-streaming the festival for the community to watch on your home devices! If you missed their live premieres, no worries! They will be uploaded to YouTube to watch wherever and whenever you like.
In addition to our digital festival, we will be offering filmmaking workshops over Zoom for students of all ages! Here's hoping to another awesome film festival!
